Visual Design Principle- the toy uses formal balance, unity, and economy. It uses formal by the right and left side being mirror images. It uses unity by all patterns among the toys are the same. It uses economy by the little or simple design on the outside.
Visual Design Elements-the toy uses form, shape, texture, and color. It uses form by using a half sphere design. It uses shape by the circles that are drawn on the body. It uses texture by the smooth feel to it. It uses color by the warm and cool colors used throughout the toys.

Functional Analysis
Purpose- to entertain children
Inputs- twist the nod, hand motion, energy, hold it
Output- moves forward, moves in a circle, flips upside down and over, leaver pops out, noise

Structural Analysis
We took this toy a part with a small Phillips screwdriver to take the screws out. The fasteners used were two screws. The parts were made of simple plastic. the simple machines used in this product are the following: a lever, wheel and axle, incline/ramp, and screw.

5 Improvements
The five improvements i would make to this product would be the following:
1. better plastic
2. place the antennas on better so they don't fall out
3. make sure the wheels can't be popped off
4. different coil so that it doesn't spring and bounce out of place
5. use a stronger plastic for the foot of the ladybug when it flips
